C. Designation of nonpoint pollution source management area (Article 76 of Enforcement Decree)
- Development of a local city with a non-point pollution contribution rate of 50% or more in the watershed that does not meet the environmental standards for water quality and aquatic ecosystem of rivers and lakes according to Article 2 of the 「Enforcement Decree of the Framework Act on Environmental Policy」
- Areas where material harm to natural ecosystems is caused or expected to be caused by nonpoint pollutants
- Areas requiring management of nonpoint pollution sources as cities with a population of 1 million or more
- Areas that are designated as national industrial complexes and general industrial complexes under the 「Industrial Location and Development Act」 and require non-point pollution management
- Areas recognized to require special management due to unusual geology or stratum structure
- Other areas designated by Ordinance of the Ministry of Environment (areas where the total amount of water pollution is notified)
